Psammite (“we,” “us”) operates coastal-intelligence tools and Datum, a private flood- and evacuation-alert service for homeowners. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to psammite.com and datum.psammite.com.
We do not collect financial account numbers; payments, when applicable, are processed by Stripe under its own terms.
If you provide a mobile number and opt in, we send event-driven flood and evacuation alerts by text. Message frequency varies with conditions. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties. Information may be shared only with service providers that help us operate the messaging (for example, our SMS carrier), solely to deliver the alerts you requested.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with vendors that operate the service on our behalf (such as authentication, hosting, email, and SMS delivery), and only as needed to provide it — or when required by law. Mobile opt-in data is excluded from all sharing as stated above.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it.
