01 · The Idea
One word contains the whole brand.
Psammite is sandstone: countless grains of silica, buried and compressed over deep time until loose sand becomes solid rock. Every design decision descends from that single fact.
Made of many
The coast is countless grains; our data is countless transects. Precision at the smallest unit.
The high-tech bridge
Melt sand and you get glass and silicon — lenses, fiber, chips. Sand is the substrate of all technology. High-tech, earned by the name.
Loose becomes permanent
Sand becomes rock under time and pressure. We turn scattered records into one permanent certificate. Permanence is the promise.
Read in layers
Sandstone is bedded; so is the report — FEMA, CEHA, DSAS, parcel. A stack of authoritative layers.
02 · Color
A cool mineral gray, lit by one grain of silica.
The ground is stone — a cool gray with a whisper of teal. The accent is silica: one bright quartz-gold spark, on no more than ~5% of any screen. Scarcity is the elegance.
03 · Typography
Modern serif for gravity. Mono for truth.
A soft contemporary serif carries the elegance; a humanist sans does the reading; a monospace makes every number look measured. Cinzel is kept for one place only — the certificate seal.
04 · The No-Lines Grammar
Separation by light, tone and space — never a rule.
One radius language, no hard 90° corners, no border:1px solid as a divider. Where a line must appear, it fades to nothing at both ends.
Boxed, cornered, ruled between every row. A form from 1998.
Soft radius, elevation, sediment-line dividers that never terminate hard.

The maps are the crown jewels. Keep them dark, make them soft.
Ground to Stone-900, soften the beveled HUDs into stratum panels, harmonize the legend to Ebb → Stone → Tide. Ambient water rides the live sea signal.

08 · The Certificate
Where the brand becomes an object.
The $99 product is the one light-mode artifact: fine mineral paper, a silica guilloché watermark, an embossed seal, findings stacked as strata bands.
